Every review on Lokona is tied to a real, confirmed transaction.
Lokona's review system is built to prevent fake reviews, retaliatory ratings, and review manipulation, while making it genuinely easy for good sellers and buyers to build a reputation that earns trust.
The review process
Six steps to a verified review.
Transaction must be real
A review can only be left after a seller records a completed sale and selects the buyer's account. The seller and buyer must have an existing message conversation about that listing first, this prevents sellers from manufacturing reviews with fake buyers.
Buyer confirms the transaction
The buyer receives a notification asking them to confirm or deny the transaction. Only after the buyer confirms can either party leave a review. If the buyer denies, the listing is restored and no reviews can be filed.
Both parties review each other
After confirmation, both buyer and seller can leave a review. Buyers rate sellers on item accuracy, communication, and reliability. Sellers rate buyers on communication, reliability, and timeliness.
Reviews stay hidden until both submit
Neither party can see the other's review until both have submitted, or 7 days have passed. This blind submission window prevents retaliatory ratings: you can't write a bad review in response to one you just received.
Reviews become public
Once both reviews are in (or after 7 days), they become visible on each party's public profile. Ratings feed into an overall score shown on every listing and storefront.
Review weight reflects trust
Not all reviews count equally. A review from a verified seller with 50+ completed transactions carries more weight than a brand-new account. Weight is calculated from verification status, account age, and transaction history, deterring fraud rings and fake accounts.
