Copyright Infringement Policy

01Introduction

Lokona is a user-generated content platform. Sellers post their own photos and descriptions of items they wish to sell. Lokona does not create or own most content on the platform, users do.

If you believe that content on Lokona infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice to us. We will review valid notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the content in question.

02How to report infringement

To submit a copyright infringement notice, email info@lokona.com with the subject line "Copyright Infringement Notice" and include the following:

• Your name, address, and contact information.
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The URL or location on Lokona of the content you believe is infringing.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

We will review your notice and respond within 5 business days. If we determine the notice is valid, we will remove or disable the content and notify the user who posted it.

03Counter-notices

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to info@lokona.com including:

• Your name and contact information.
• Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rwanda.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will restore the content unless the original claimant files a legal action within 10 business days.

04Repeat infringers

Lokona will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. A user whose content is removed following three or more valid copyright notices may have their account permanently suspended. Lokona reserves the right to make this determination at its sole discretion.

05Lokona's own intellectual property

The Lokona name, logo, design system, and platform code are owned by Tatem Solutions Ltd and protected by copyright. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Lokona's logo or brand assets without written permission.
• Scrape or systematically download Lokona content or listings.
• Create derivative works based on Lokona's interface or branding.
• Use Lokona's trademarks in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation.
